Ice Fishing Rise delivers a reflex-driven arcade experience where your primary objective is protecting the fisherman from an endless stream of cunning fish approaching from the depths. Each fish swims toward your character with increasing speed and resilience as gameplay progresses.
Every fish displays a visible green stamina bar that depletes with each tap. The mechanic requires rapid consecutive taps to drain the stamina completely before the fish reaches the fisherman or escapes off-screen. Fish resilience increases over time, demanding faster reaction speeds and more precise tap timing to successfully catch each target.
The game implements dynamic difficulty scaling where fish swim speed accelerates gradually, stamina pools expand requiring more taps per catch, and spawn frequency intensifies. This creates an escalating challenge that continuously tests your ability to maintain accuracy under pressure while managing multiple approaching targets simultaneously.
Simple yet addictive control scheme where tapping fish depletes their stamina bar. Each successful tap brings you closer to hooking the catch, while mistimed taps waste precious seconds as faster fish approach your position.
The fisherman starts each session with three red starfish lives displayed at the top-left corner. Lose a life when fish reach the fisherman or escape off-screen uncaught. When all three lives deplete, the fishing session ends and your final score is recorded.
Each successfully caught fish rewards coins based on catch speed and remaining stamina. Accumulated coins unlock progression milestones and contribute to your overall performance score displayed on the wooden plank counter at the top-right.
Trigger the bonus wheel feature during gameplay to spin for coin multipliers including 10x and 20x rewards. Win notifications display earned amounts immediately, with rewards like 8,000 or 4,500 coins added to your total balance.
The game maintains both your latest session score and all-time best record. Access the records screen via the wooden plank menu to view your highest achievements and challenge yourself to surpass previous performance benchmarks.
